VERY SLOW & STEADY

WOW, I lost a pound this week. Yahoo for me:( I guess I will be happy I didn't gain. I think I might be doing too many weight lifting classes to lose more than that. I would do just cardio, but I really want to become stronger. . . not just thinner. When I'm 90 & packing my skis up to the lodge, almost slip on ice I don't want anything breaking.

The Hysterectomy I had (that I would have a million times over again. Best thing I've ever done for myself) killed my abs. A month ago, the plank was not happening. It was PLANK? I don't do plank!!! This week I lasted the whole minute. It about killed me, but I did it. I realize some peeps can hold the plank well past that, but I was beyond happy. I have lost inches also. I wish I would have thought to keep track of that. A pair of pants I haven't worn in a year I was able to wear the other day so that's a good thing.

I guess the low number could be the fact that I ate pizza on Saturday. Costco has pizza on sale this month for 6 dollars. I will not buy that amazingly priced easy dinner again. I CAN'T resist it!!!!!! I LOVE pizza. That cheep dollar crap at the grocery store . LOVE IT!!! If it's pizza I have decided I will only buy it on date night. The remains will go in the garbage before I return home. YA it's that bad.


I have to be in the 160's to meet my goal by March. That means 1 thing--this week as much as I despise it, I will be doing the Perricone. It is a cleanse (sort of) that makes you lose lots of weight fast. It still lets you eat quite a bit of food. I need that to keep my blood sugar level up. It's not a starvation diet. It's a combination of foods that work together to flush out extra water. It also gives you tons of energy. It works amazing. I could never live on it, but a week to reach my goal I can do.
