10k Beginners Training DONE!!!!

I am HAPPY to say that I finished my 10k training schedule this week.  In the entire 8 weeks, I only missed 1 day and it was for a VERY good reason. But I can't remember what it was:)  On all the days it called for cross training or rest, I cross trained of course.    I do think I need to get my butt outdoors to run, so that every time I get tired I don't have the handrails of a treadmill to hold on to.  Or even worse, at times I must admit I would step on the sides as I would catch my breath:0   I have found if I can get past the first 2.5 -3 miles, I get into a groove then things seem to be a little easier.  For some reason the first few miles seem to kick my butt a little.  My legs kinda fill like bricks.  After awhile they decide they can handle it and it's not so bad.

WHAT TO DO NOW????? Ya see, I have to have a plan or I am the type of person that will do NOTHING.  If I don't have something I know I am working towards, I just quit.  My friend bought this program awhile ago and had AMAZING results.  The other day at the half-price book store I found it for $5.  I thought-what what the heck it can't hurt.

I have finished 1 week and haven't noticed any great changes yet.  Who knows? 5 more weeks to go.  I wish I could buy the supplements that go with it.  I think that would really help me.  The video makes it sound like it would:)   I am just too afraid to take them because of my other medication.  Plus they are expensive.  So it was easy to talk myself out of them:)

As for the running, I'm going to start a 5k intermediate program with the video just to keep the running going.  Sunday it always my rest day so I just change the schedule a bit.
